US-Bangla announces new weekly flights from Sylhet to Muscat

US-Bangla Airlines today announced a new route which will operate direct flights to Muscat from Sylhet from November 17 onwards.

This is the first time any Bangladeshi airlines is going to be operating direct flights to Muscat from Sylhet.

One of the leading private air operators of the country with 13 aircraft in its fleet, US-Bangla Airlines will operate two flights a week on the Sylhet-Muscat-Sylhet route, the airlines said in a release.

The flight will leave from Sylhet MAG Osmani International Airport at 7:30pm every Tuesday and Friday, and will land in Muscat at 10:30pm local time.

The return flight from Muscat will fly every Tuesday and Friday at 11:30pm local time and will land in Sylhet at 7:15am the next day.

At present, US-Bangla Airlines is operating two weekly flights—on Monday and Thursday to Muscat from Dhaka, and two weekly flights on Wednesday and Sunday from Chattogram to the same destination.

The US-Bangla flight leaves Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka for Muscat at 10:00pm on Monday and Thursday and lands at Muscat at 1:00am local time on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Apart from operating flights to all seven domestic routes, the airlines is currently operating flights to Guangzhou, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Doha, Kolkata and Chennai.
