An Awami League activist in Sylhet protesting about Dr Zafar Iqbal’s comments doesn’t have a clue what the teacher had said!

The protest arranged by Awami League leaders of Sylhet on Saturday branded the popular author as a “blogger” and unwanted in their locality where the faux pas by an activist occurred, according to local online newspaper Sylhet Today 24.

The activist was expressing his grievance on Dr Zafar Iqbal in a rhythmic manner before the reporter from Sylhet Today 24 asked him what exactly the teacher had said about Awami League leaders.

With a shy grin the activist responded that he really didn’t know the cause behind his protest.

When the news broke of this ridiculous protest, social media was flooded with criticism from various quarters.
