Abanti Sithi and Sujan Hajong dedicate song to Bangamata

Marking the 92nd birth anniversary (August 8) of Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, Sujan Hajong and Abanti Sithi collaborated for a song to observe the day.

Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, who was the ultimate source of all the encouragement for the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman during the Liberation War of Bangladesh, is a treasured figure in the country's history.

The track titled, "Bangabandhur Oshomapto Atmajiboni Tumi," has been penned by Sujan Hajong.

Sithi, who earned lot of accolades as one of the contestants in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa (2018), lent her vocals for the song on August 5, at Moghbazar's D Station. The duo had earlier joined hands for another song titled "Muktir Songrame", dedicated to the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The track has been tuned and arranged by Sumon Kalyan. The song is available at Sujan Hajong's official YouTube channel from tomorrow onwards.
