For the love of languages

Language is one of the most precious tools in the history of human civilization. It's the key to understanding a particular culture and its history.

In February every year, we remain so focused on the Bengali language, that we often forget that the spirit of 21st February is about respecting and celebrating all languages in the world. It's about loving all languages equally, preserving the dying ones and respecting the existing ones.

This February, let's make it about celebrating everything about languages. Don't mock your friend's local dialect or the friend who enjoys Hindi films. Let's learn Spanish. Let's try and fail. Let's overcome the language barrier.

Let languages be open. Because when languages become accessible, the whole world becomes one.
