The biggest announcements and reveals from Tokyo Game Show 2021

The Tokyo Game Show 2021 has just ended, featuring major announcements from some of the biggest names in the gaming industry such as Xbox, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Capcom, Konami, and so on.

Here are the biggest announcements from the Game Show so far:

Forza Horizon 5 System requirements

Forza Horizon 5, one of the most popular racing game series in the world, has released its system requirements. The production will be included in the Xbox Game Pass library (console, PC, and cloud) as soon as it is released on November 9, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Microsoft Windows.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin

Following the release of the first demo for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, the team behind the upcoming Final Fantasy 1 spin-off has discussed how they plan to incorporate player feedback into the game to improve the overall experience.

Some of these changes include updating the graphics and lighting after complaints that the game was too dark, implementing a new feature called Resonance to increase the usefulness of NPCs, and much more. Some of these changes are visible in the game's new demo, which is available until October 11th.

Trailers for Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, Triangle Strategy and more

Square Enix debuted new footage from Triangle Strategy, its upcoming tactical RPG, Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier, Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars, and Chocobo GP, a Final Fantasy kart-racing spin-off.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak expansion

Capcom has revealed a slew of new details for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's "massive" expansion, which will include a new Master Rank level for quests. The new story will transport players to a new base of operations, introduce them to the Elder Dragon Malzeno, and bring back some old foes like the Shogun Ceanataur.

The release date for Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak is set for Summer 2022.

Back 4 Blood trailer

A new trailer for the highly anticipated co-op production Back 4 Blood was released at the Tokyo Game Show 2021. Turtle Rock Studios is working on Back 4 Blood, which features developers from the critically acclaimed Left 4 Dead series. Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment will release the game on October 12, 2021, and it will be included in the Xbox Game Pass library as soon as it is available.
