Kabab rolls and Shift magazines are the new normal

Same time, last year, it all seemed normal. It has been exactly one year when we last felt oblivious to anything changing so drastically. We were bored, jaded, tired. And then the world went upside down to let us know that bored, jaded, tired wasn't so bad.

We persevered. This year Daily Star completed 30 years of journalism, seeing leaders rise and topple, but more importantly, seeing the change in menu in our canteen. Oh yeah, because nibbling on food keeps us going. From the humble 'puri' we have gone on to kachchi, chicken kabab roll and assorted veggies that only two people in our office like. Yes, Nahaly Nafisa and Zyma, I'm looking at you.
