Air strikes kill ‘Bangladeshi militant’ in Syria

At least 10 alleged members of Islamic State (IS) including a Bangladeshi were killed in coalition force's air strikes in Syria and Iraq in last one month, according to a list prepared by the US military.

Saiful Haque Sujan's name was among the 10 important figures of IS, BBC Bangla reports adding that Saiful was a computer engineer who studied in England.

Saiful was killed near Raka province in Syria on December 10, Col Steve Waren, a spokesperson of US Army in Baghdad, told BBC Bangla.

"Saiful has been working as a communication planner for the IS," Col Waren added.
