Ten pieces of a woman's body found

Police recovered 10 pieces of a woman's body from the capital's Uttara yesterday.
Uttara Paschim police found eight pieces of the woman's hands and legs at sector 5 and Turag police found two pieces of her body about a kilometre away in Chandalbhog area.
Police are trying to recover the head.
They have yet to identify the victim, presumably aged about 35, but said all the body parts belonged to the same woman. Law enforcers are working to find out the culprit(s) and the motive behind the killing.
Mamunoor Rahman, sub-inspector of Uttara Paschim Police Station, said the woman's severed hands and legs wrapped with a scarf were lying beside a house at sector 5 around 9:00am.
About two hours later, Turag police found the other parts in a travel bag on Chandalbhog Bridge, said Ali Mahmud, inspector (investigation) of Turag Police Station.
Police suspect the woman was killed on Saturday night.
