City Bank's Freelancer Account officially launched

City Bank has officially launched their new Freelancer Account service. The launching ceremony took place on 22 December with a joint MoU signing between City Bank and BFDS (Bangladesh Freelancer Development Society). 

Representatives of both City Bank and BFDS were present at the event, including Tanjiba Rahman, President of BFDS and Arup Haider, Head of Retail Banking at The City Bank Ltd. Mashrur Arefin, Managing Director & CEO, and Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Additional Managing Director, were also present from City Bank. 

City Bank Freelancer Account holders can receive all types of loan benefits for credit cards, including receiving a remittance certificate every six months. According to an official statement, the facility will soon be made locally available in other banks as well to benefit the freelancer community in Bangladesh.
