Avik Anwar, the Bangladeshi racing sensation, clinched first place in Race-2 of Round-3 in the Malaysia Championship Series at the Sepang International Circuit on Sunday. This victory marks a significant milestone in Anwar's career, elevating him to third place overall in the championship standings.

Anwar, who had previously secured a podium finish in Round-1, started the race from grid 2. He navigated the 5,543-meter track in 20 laps, completing the race in 1 hour and 1 minute. His best lap time was an impressive 2.28 minutes, adding this win as his ninth podium finish in the Malaysia Championship Series.

The race was far from a walk in the park, with conditions that tested the mettle of even the most seasoned racers. The temperature in Malaysia soared above 45 degrees Celsius, and according to Anwar, the track temperature reached a scorching 61 degrees.

The Sepang International Circuit, known for its challenging layout and high-speed straights, was the backdrop for this multi-class racing event. Anwar's performance was a testament to his skill, preparation, and adaptability, qualities that have made him a rising star in the world of motorsports.

The fourth and final round of the Malaysia Championship Series is slated to take place at the same venue on September 25. The race will be a grueling test of endurance, with a flight time of about two hours and a distance of 300 km. As the championship reaches its climax, all eyes will be on Anwar and his competitors, who will battle it out for the ultimate prize.
