Sust Shibir calls strike

Islami Chhatra Shibir of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (Sust) will enforce a two-day strike at the university from tomorrow to press their demands including immediate withdrawal of expulsion orders against 14 Shibir men by the authorities.
The other demands include withdrawal of 'false cases' against Shibir men and ensuring Shibir men's stay at the dormitories.
Sust Shibir general secretary Saiful Islam Sujon made the announcement at a press conference at a restaurant in the city yesterday.
We will go on indefinite strike at the university from March 18 and enforce hartal in Sylhet division for March 20 and 21 in Sylhet division, said Saiful.
