RLC Presents - 5th DRMC-Petromax LPG National Language Festival 2018

Dhaka Residential Model College has been organising many language festivals in the national arena for the past five years. This time around, the Remians Language Club (RLC) intends to continue its legacy by organising "RLC Presents - 5th DRMC-Petromax LPG National Language Festival 2018" on a momentous scale from July 26 to 28. On this occasion, many students from different schools, colleges and universities from all corners of Bangladesh will participate in the event as competitors and audience. Famous and well-known personalities from the national and international arenas will be invited to attend this programme as honourable guests and judges. One of the finest writers of Bangladesh, Imdadul Haq Milan, will be the chief guest of the opening ceremony. 

This year, RLC is going to arrange over thirty language-based events for students. There will be a book fair with over thirty stalls for people to visit throughout the three days. A gaming competition has also been added to the festival to add a unique and competitive element for everyone. Amazing and fun events, such as pop cultural quizzes on Harry Potter,  Friends, Game of Thrones and the like, Anime quizzes on  Naruto, FMA and many more as well as  quizzes on Marvel and DC, will also be arranged. The club aims to hold a festival that everyone can enjoy through participation. 

The college will also launch the fifth edition of their annual magazine, Dhoni, as the souvenir of the festival. This is a publication which includes speeches from respected individuals, write-ups from students and teachers on various topics of language, literature, their achievements of the previous years in this field, as well as common and newly added features. Star Youth, The Daily Star, will serve as the Print Media Partner and Youth Engagement Partner of this event.
