Smartifier Academy launches YPS

Owing to the coronavirus pandemic, a large number of young professionals and university students are spending their time at home. Many are using this time to look for opportunities.

After this ordeal ends, companies will have increased demands for skilled workforces. To that end, Smartifier Academy initiated 'Young Professional Smartification (YPS)', an online training programme for soft skills. Their career-building course covers 27 topics, focusing on job readiness, office performance and job excellence among other things. It aims to help young professionals realise and utilise their capabilities to the fullest.

So far, 41 university clubs and youth organisations have joined as partners in this programme. From 40 districts, 3,333 people have registered and over 4,190 people are in their Facebook group. More than 300 live participants are attending the sessions every day. The academy has conducted seven training sessions so far, with Level 1 ending on May 17. Level 2 began on May 21. The training is conducted free of cost, in their Facebook group, 'Smartifier Academy Fight Club'. 

So far, Md Tajdin Hassan, Head of Marketing at The Daily Star, Founding Member of Mission Save Bangladesh and U.S. State Department Alumni, Ejazur Rahman, Managing Director at Mind Mapper and  Regional CEO at ISCEA (Asia), GM Kamrul Hassan, Group CEO at Igloo Ice Cream, Food & Dairy Ltd and Founder of The Corporate Coach, Zaved Parvez, Vice President - Resourcing, Employers Brand and HR Digitalization at Robi Axiata Limited and Certified Professional Life Coach at Restart Yourself with ZP,Ayman Sadiq, Founder and CEO of 10 Minute School and many other trainers and speakers have joined the programme.
