Mentor Moshai steps forward with online lessons and awareness programmes

Mentor Moshai is a development and lifestyle platform for children. With an aim of encouraging kids to be innovative, the team regularly posts content related to dreams, mental health, technology, communication, internet safety, cybercrimes, social studies, interactive quizzes, interesting facts about environmental and societal matters and answers to different questions starting with 'why'. They share the content daily on their YouTube channel and Facebook page. Interestingly, all of their content creators are children.

One of their most popular projects is 'Boi Dao – Give a Book', through which they collect old, used books and distribute them amongst underprivileged students, free of cost. They recently took the initiative of giving free books to students in the slums of Rupnagar and Mirpur.

As the world copes with the coronavirus pandemic, Mentor Moshai is conducting online classes from their Facebook page. They have also distributed, including awareness leaflets and safety masks, to underprivileged children and rickshaw-pullers in Raipur, Chattogram. So far, they have distributed over 500 masks and are also working to educate people about the importance of good hygiene. They have also distributed Hexisol hand rubs amongst children in villages, after teaching them how to effectively keep their hands clean. Through their video tutorials, they have also shared lessons on how hand-sanitisers and masks could easily be made at home. "Our endeavours are not limited to the city as we are taking necessary initiatives in many villages as well," shares Samim Ashraf, Founder and CEO of Mentor Moshai.
