Laugh Later organises a rendezvous with cartoonists

'Yet Another Untimely Rendezvous of Cartoonists', a crowdsourced storyboarding event took place at Pathao Headquarters on Saturday, December 5. The event was attended by 12 comic enthusiasts and cartoonists, maintaining safety protocols and social distancing.

The event was organised by Laugh Later, a platform for comedy enthusiasts. "We want to create a community of comedy enthusiasts and collaborate on fun and ambitious projects. Last year, we published a comic book and this year, we're working on an animated sitcom." said Shanil Chaudhury, Co-founder and Head Writer of Laugh Later.

Through the crowd-sourcing platform, the storyboard of the pilot episode of an animated show of Laugh Later was developed by seven contributing cartoonists in just two hours, at this event.

The storyboarding session was supervised by Onindo Ahmed and Samin Farhan, celebrated cartoonists and founding members of Laugh Later. The event was sponsored by Pathao and Miniso. The refreshment partner of the event was Tipsy Pineapple and the safety partner was Tech Peon.
