Celebrating Abinta Kabir’s passion for art Youth Desk

Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts inaugurated the exclusive exhibition, titled The Little Artist, for the second time. The foundation, along with Abinta Gallery of Fine Arts, launched a series of art competitions across Bangladesh. They believe that their founder, Abinta Kabir's love and respect for her country serves as an example to the youth of Bangladesh.

To celebrate Abinta's passion for art and her patriotic spirit, the art competitions were organised in 27 schools of Dhaka, Sylhet and Chittagong. The art competitions were conducted for different age groups. The students were engaged to draw artworks focusing on the theme, 'Festivals of Bangladesh. They drew their vision on different cultural, religious, social, traditional festivals, along with significant historical events of Bangladesh. In total, 136 artworks were selected for the exhibition.

During the event, the Charge D' Affairs of the US Ambassador to Bangladesh, Joanne Wagner shared her thoughts. "I want to congratulate all the artists and their families who are present with us today. We are celebrating the very rich and vibrant culture of the Bangladesh with this exhibition," she said. The exhibition concluded on November 25.
