Kazi IT's Largest Career Bootcamp in Bangladesh

With six thousand participants joining from different corners of Bangladesh, Kazi IT hosted the largest career boot camp in Dhaka on November 11, 2017, at Hall of Fame of Bangabandhu International Conference Centre. Kazi IT is one of the largest business process outsourcing (BPO) companies in Bangladesh. The aim of the boot camp was to employ business development analyst in an extraordinary recruitment process.

Two months ago, applicants from all across the country participated through an online registration process. A large number of prospective participants were chosen after the initial screening. Finally, twenty contestants belonging to both public and private universities were hired based on their academic and on-the-spot performances. Their English communication skill was assessed with a view to analyse their capability to interact effectively and harmoniously with other people. In addition to this, all the recruited members had to go through two extensive interviews- one over the telephone and the other on stage. The Management Committee, comprised of the CEO, COO, CLO, Head of Training and Head of HR of Kazi IT, employed each contestant with scrutiny and perfection.

Kazi IT hosted this event in collaboration with Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment & Governance (LICT) Project of ICT. Along with the exciting activities, industry- leading speakers and career consultants including Quazi M Ahmed, Lead Consultant & CEO, Future Leaders; G Sumdany Don, Chief Inspirational Officer at Don Sumdany Facilitation & Consultancy; Ayman Sadiq, founder and CEO, 10 Minute School; Jishu Tarafder, Chief Consultant at CORPORATECOACH; customer service and business communications trainer Rushdina Khan and many other prominent persons were there to light up the hall.

At the end of the event, Zunaid Ahmed Palak, MP, the state minister for ICT division joined as the Chief Guest and handed over the appointment letters to the newly recruited analysts. In addition to that, Dr Shahjahan Mahmood, Chairman, BRTC; Sonia Bashir Kabir, Managing Director Microsoft Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan and Laos; and Wahid Sharif, President, BACCO, attended the closing ceremony as presiding guests.
