Workers deserve equality in wages

Our country's GDP mostly depends on the huge garment sector and its hundreds of thousands of workers. But it is a matter of concern that our garment workers haven't been getting equal pay raises. During the demonstrations for their rights, some workers were injured in clashes with law enforcers and while the authorities have assured them of reviewing the wage structure and little has been done to address the police brutality against the protesting workers. If this matter is not brought to justice and the workers' grievances not addressed, our garment sector will find itself in big trouble in the long run.
