Bangladeshi Theatre's Curtain Call

Earlier this year, under the guidance of Professor Dr Israfil Shaheen, the Theatre and Performance Studies Department of Dhaka University travelled to Delhi for the 9th Asia Pacific Bureau, as the first ever delegation from Bangladesh. As they performed a localised take on Phaedra, called Sanjbelar Bilap, on the grand stage of the National School of Drama in Delhi, India, they proved to the world that Bangladeshi theatre has and always will leave an impact on any stage they set foot on.
