Anisul Hoque is definitely the most popular writer of his time, especially if you consider the variety of his writing and number of formats in Bengali Literature he has touched and excelled in. Usually, when one talks about Hoque's work, his novel-fictions and his columns take the lead.

This children's story-book, however, is filled with very little words and a lot of drawings. With hardly 3 to 5 sentences on each page, this twenty-page book is full of beautifully drawn pictures by a young and very talented cartoonist- Sadatuddin Ahmed Amil.

Like every year, Anisul Hoque's Novels are selling editions after editions at this year's boi mela as well. However, its this particular book of bedtime stories that catches the eye.

The minute one picks up the book allured by the very colorful and vibrant cover, it'll take one back to the chuldhood days when translations of Japanese and Russian stories were popular amongst the children.

Reading this book, one would want to be a child again and as this book is a pure Bangladeshi story with relevant references.

Little boy 'Guddubura's father buys him a remote controlled car and shows him how to operate it, but Guddubura wants a chauffeur for it! Thinking he might be a little slow, his parents take him to a doctor. The doctor simply suggests enhanced diet and more outdoor life. Finally he becomes smart and sharp and ends up catching an infamous thief!

Grab this book while still hot on the stands!
