Multiple groups in Natore hacking IMO accounts of expats, embezzling money

In Lalpur upazila of Natore, several organized groups have been hacking IMO accounts, especially of expatriates, to embezzle large sums of money.

How were these groups conning so many people? And how is this particular place, with limited access to technology, seeing so many hacking incidents?
