Building Mangrove Forests

Bangladesh is confronted with a range of challenges due to climate change. Mangroves are considered to be the best nature-based solution, for both adaptation and mitigation. They not only help prevent climate change by sequestering carbon but also safeguard the environment and their ecosystems.

Since mangrove forests are highly tolerant of salt and adapted to extreme environmental conditions, planting mangroves is becoming more important than ever.
