Masterplan to overhaul DU campus

According to a new master plan, 599 old buildings of Dhaka University campus will be demolished, where 97 high rise buildings will be constructed, along with a complete overhaul of roads, arenas and public spaces.

This master plan, with a proposed implementation budget of Tk 9,000 crore taka, is under consideration by the current DU authorities.
