Bhakurta village where all the jewellery come from

Almost 10,000 jewellers inhabit Bhakurta, or as the locals call "Gohonagram" - the Jewelry Village.

This village in Savar has been producing jewellery since the British colonial era. However, from the 1980s, the number of artisans started to grow there.
