Bangladesh and its capital Dhaka have been consistently named in the top five when it comes to worst air pollution rankings since 2018. Extremely polluted air has been the cause of severe health issues and even deaths throughout the country over the years.

WHO has recently raised the acceptable air quality standards. Is Bangladesh anywhere near those standards? Is the air quality in this country beyond repair? What can the government do to reduce air pollution?
