People of Turi community celebrate Dashai Karam after four decades

Dashai Karam, an autumn festival of the people of Turi communite, was not celebrated in Chapainawabganj's Madhaipur for nearly four decades.

In the evening of October 14, Turi people welcomed back their traditional festivity by paying respect to nature with the beats of Madal, synchronised Jhumur dance, and songs of their own Sadri language.
