What is the future of the RMG industry post pandemic?

The RMG sector, which earns over 80% of the total foreign currencies for Bangladesh and employs over 4 million people, is now battling against the ongoing pandemic.

In the FY 2019-20, as the direct effect of Covid-19, the RMG sector experienced an 18.21% drop in exports. However, after that the sector has been turning around once again towards growth.

Can the sector continue this upward trend in this new deterioration of the coronavirus situation in the country? How is the sector preparing to survive in the global market in this new reality?
