What to expect from the first underground metro rail in Bangladesh?

The first underground metro rail in Bangladesh will connect Dhaka airport, Kamalapur railway station and Purbachal. This 31.24 km long Mass Rapid Transit Line-1 or MRT-1 is planned to incorporate an underground section from Dhaka airport to Kamalapur and an elevated section from Notun Bazar to Purbachal.

Dhaka Mass Transit Company Ltd (DMCTL) informed on June 17 that the construction of MRT-1 will begin next year in March 2022. What should citizens expect from the first underground metro rail? How will it change the living experience in Dhaka?
