The already perilous lives of sanitation and waste workers have been aggravated by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Despite working in a higher Covid-risk environment, their struggles are yet to be adequately addressed.

The Daily Star, WaterAid Bangladesh and the Embassy of Sweden have come together to start a campaign for these unsung heroes: The Untold Stories of Sanitation and Waste Workers.
