8000 hectares of harvest-land disappeared in 8 years

Natore's farmlands have been halved since the last 8 years where the number of unplanned ponds on farmlands has increased almost twofold.

Experts blame these unplanned ponds for the increase in the number and intensity of water clogging and flooding in recent years. These are affecting not only the locals but also the whole country because of decreased harvest.
