Youth shooting ends in BKSP's domination

Mohammad Rabiul Islam of BKSP Shooting Club clinched the gold medal in the men's 10m Air Rifle event while Syeda Atkia Rahman of Army Shooting Association grabbed the gold in the same event of women's group in the concluding day of the Hamidur Rahman Youth Shooting Championship at the Bangladesh Shooting Sports Federation Complex in Gulshan yesterday.

Rabiul scored 582 points to grab the gold ahead of Mozammel Hossain of Chittagong Metropolitan Shooting Club (577) and Arnab Shahrar Lastif of BKSP (572).

Atkia scored 389 points to beat BSKP's Sharmin Akter (385) and Mayeda Momtahina of Army Shooting Association (385).

The BKSP shooters, who had won all the four gold medals on the opening day, took their final gold tally to five while Army had to contend with just one gold medal.
