Table tennis leagues from tomorrow

The Senior Division, First Division and Women's Division table tennis leagues will commence simultaneously at the Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium in Paltan tomorrow. A total of 187 players including 33 foreign players will compete across the three leagues, which will conclude on March 9.

The Senior Division will feature 55 players for 11 teams; the first division will see 96 players playing for 24 teams while the women's division will comprise of nine teams, with 36 players taking part.

Sponsored jointly by Meghna Group and Infrastructure Development Company Limited, and organised by the Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTTF), the three leagues have a total budget of Tk five lac.

All this information was revealed during a press conference at the indoor stadium, where the high-ups of the federation and representatives of sponsor companies were present.
