Int'l junior tennis from Nov 3

The 32nd Bangladesh International Junior Tennis Championship will get underway at the Ramna National Tennis Complex on Saturday.

The World Junior Ranking Group-5 championship for under-18 players is expected to feature a total of 91 players from 13 countries including 38 female players, it was revealed during a press conference at the Bangladesh Tennis Federation office in Ramna yesterday.

The qualifying round will be held on November 3 and 4 while the main round will be held from November 6 to 11. The players will compete in four categories -- boys' singles, boys' doubles, girls' singles and girls' doubles. India's Ariyan Javeri is the top seed in boys' section while USA's Anaya Kothakota is the top seed in girls' section.
