Pakistan have won the toss and elected to bat first against Bangladesh in the second of their two-Test series at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.

With opener Saif Hassan, who played the first Test in Chattogram, diagnosed with typhoid, changes were inevitable for Bangladesh for today's game. The Tigers made three changes as Saif has been replaced by Mahmudul Hasan Joy, who will be making his international debut.

The other two changes are also predictable as pacer Abu Jayed, following a dismal showing in the Chattogram Test, has been replaced by pacer Khaled Ahmed while Yasir Ali, who had a promising debut at his hometown in the first Test, could consider himself a tad unlucky as he has to make way for premier all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who returns to the squad following a hamstring injury.

Pakistan, however, have kept their squad unchanged from the first Test.

Having lost the first match by eight wickets, Bangladesh will be hoping to bounce back and add their first points in the latest cycle of the World Test Championship (WTC).
