In the wake of Leicester City’s fairytale run to the English Premier League title, manager Claudio Ranieri is reportedly set to be named Grand Officer of the Italian Order of Merit, one of Italy’s highest honours.

Italian president Sergio Mattarella has reportedly approved Italy’s third-highest honour for Ranieri.

The 64-year-old is not only being recognised for his feat with the Foxes, but rather his whole 30-year managerial career, which has seen him coach the likes of Napoli, Roma, Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Juventus.
