Neymar undergoes 'cupping therapy'

A picture posted on his Instagram shows Barcelona star Neymar undergoing the mythical 'cupping therapy'.

The Brazilian is pictured lying on his back in a pair of shorts with 14 cups stuck down his spine in a practice that is seemingly making a comeback among athletes.

The therapy, said to have originated in Egypt in 1550 BC, supposedly increases blood flow, reduces inflammation and treats respiratory problems, but it's effects are widely argued to this day.

British boxer Anthony Joshua was earlier pictured undergoing the same therapy ahead of his heavyweight title fight with Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night.
