Australia's David Warner lived up to his billing with a smashing 36-ball 61 in the Bangladesh Premier League match against Rangpur Riders at the Sylhet International Stadium today. And no, you have not read it wrong. The batsman in fact brought up his half-century while batting right-handed.

In the 19th over of the innings, while facing Chris Gayle, Warner played out two dot balls in the second and third ball of the over. Having played two dot balls, the left-handed opener changed his stance to that of a right hander's with his individual score on 47—a move that added to the spectacle of this season's BPL.

He proceeded to thump a sweetly timed six straight over Gayle's head just as a genuine right-hander would.

He did not stop there.

The 32-year old then hit the next ball for four with a paddle sweep before succeeding to play a reverse-sweep while batting right handed to hit another four in the last ball of the over.

Sylhet posted their highest total this tournament as Warner's unbeaten 61 and Liton's 70 earlier saw them reach 187 for 5.
