Saif SC win Bodousa Cup

Saif Sporting Club of Bangladesh emerged champions in the 10th Bodousa International Invitation Cup in Assam yesterday, beating Jamshedpur FC 2-0 in the final.

The fourth-place finishers of last season's BPL rode on goals from two of their foreign recruits to cruise to victory against the reserve team of Jamshedpur, an outfit of the Indian Super League.

Russian playmaker Dennis scored the opener in the 21st minute before Korean striker Seung Il Park wrapped up the win with an 85th-minute penalty.

Saif had beaten another ISL outfit, Gokulam Kerala FC, 1-0 in the semifinal to make it to the final.
