Kings one point shy of title

Bashundhara Kings closed in on the Tricotex Women's Football League title after extending their winning streak to 10 with a massive 15-0 win over Cumilla United at Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium on Tuesday.

With ten triumphs in as many matches, Kings need just one more point from two matches to lift the title on their women's league debut.

Nasrin Football Academy are the nearest contenders, second with 21 points from nine matches.

Krishna Rani Sarker and Sabina Khatun struck four goals each yesterday, with the latter contributing 25 of Kings' 91 goals in the campaign.
