HP’s second 4-dayer ends in damp draw

The second and final four-dayer between the Bangladesh High Performance (HP) team and their Sri Lankan counterparts ended in a draw after the fourth day was called off without a ball being bowled due to a wet outfield at the Sheikh Kamal International Stadium in Cox’s Bazar yesterday.

The first match in Khulna was drawn and therefore the series was shared between the two sides after yesterday’s washout.

Match referee Debabrata Paul informed The Daily Star yesterday that overnight rain had completely ruined the outfield and thus it was impossible for the match to be resumed.
