Clouds gather over England tour of SA

England's imminent tour of South Africa could hang on the outcome of a CSA members' council meeting on Friday, according to the leader of the interim board proposed by government.

"I don't know what the thinking is in England, but I have no doubt that if the members' council doesn't take a proper decision this evening England will probably be seriously discouraged from coming," Zak Yacoob told a press conference on Friday.

Yacoob, a former Constitutional Court judge, was appointed by sports minister Nathi Mthethwa to lead the proposed interim board on October 30.  Word from England's camp at this stage is that it's "business as usual" for the tour. They are due to arrive on Monday to play South Africa in six white-ball internationals, starting on November 27.
