BCB agree to day-night Test

Bangladesh coach Russell Domingo informed the media that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have agreed to the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s request to play the first-ever day-night Test between the two countries. The Test match, the second in a two-match series, is set be played at Eden Gardens and will be first day-night Test for both Bangladesh and India.

“We have discussed the matter and it’s a good opportunity for us. We don’t have too much preparation but neither does India. Since both teams do not have the experience, we would like to seize the opportunity,” head coach Russell Domingo told reporters yesterday.
