Mes que una Mocio has gathered above 20,000 signatures and can now move on to the second phase of passing a vote of no confidence against Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu.

Three candidates, Jordi Farre, Victor Font and Lluis Fernandez Ala, are operating under the banner, which means 'More than a motion' -- a play on words of the club's famous slogan.

Reports, accompanied by boxes containing the signatures, said that over 20,000 votes had been collected. The motion was delivered to the Camp Nou offices on Thursday.

According to bylaws, the club will form a group that 'will promote and control the entire process'. It will be composed the first two partners who signed the application and two members of the club's board of directors while its head will be a delegate from the Catalan Football Federation, appointed by the Catalan Federation.

The third and final phase will be the voting phase, when members of the club will be asked to vote on the motion. It will pass if at least 10 per cent of club members vote and 66 per cent of valid votes are the motion's favour.

If it passes, the current board will be immediately dissolved. However, if it does not pass, then a vote of no confidence cannot be brought up for a year.
