Leg-spinner Aminul Islam, who made his debut for Bangladesh on Wednesday against Zimbabwe, is doubtful for the rest of the ongoing tri-nation T20I series after picking up an injury.

Aminul sustained an injury to his left hand while fielding against Zimbabwe and had to get three stitches after the game. Even if the pain did subside, playing with stitches would not be feasible.

Aminul described the event quite simply, saying: "Masakadza hit a ball straight and I tried to save it, but I couldn't. It hit my hand. There was not a chance for a return catch, just fielding. I got three stitches. I feel a lot better now, the pain has reduced."

When asked if he was available for the upcoming game, the 19-year-old said: "It's difficult to say. I will have to listen what the team management and physio tell me, but I think my hand is better now."
