Mohammedan beat Dhaka Mariner Young’s club 3-1

Mohammedan Sporting Club won 3-1 against Dhaka Mariner Young’s club in a Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League match at the Maulana Bhasani Hockey Stadium today.

Dhaka Mariner succumbed to their first defeat in the league thanks to Arbinder Singh's double strike.

Dhaka Mariner opened the scoring through Hasan Jubair Niloy in the 34th minute before Gurjinder Singh equalized for Mohammedan with a penalty stroke in the 44th minute.

Arbinder Singh scored twice in the 64th and the 68th minute to give Mohammedan victory. Mohammedan sit pretty at the top of the table with 30 points, winning all 10 of their matches. Dhaka Mariner are at second spot with 27 points, having won nine matches.
