Jewel flops in Hungary

Swimmer Jewel Ahmed finished second from bottom in the 100m backstroke event of FINA World Championships in Budapest, Hungary yesterday.

Jewel took 1:03.55 minutes to finish his swim and became 45th among 46 participants. Jewel, whose best timing in 100m backstroke is 1:02.41 seconds, will compete in his second event – the 50m backstroke -- on Saturday.
