Barcelona ace Neymar has said he wants to make history with his side as they look to build on last season's European and domestic treble.

The Catalan side were victorious in La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League last term and aim to become the first team ever to win the latter for a second time in a row.

Neymar, who has been linked with a mega-transfer to Manchester United this summer, has targeted further success in the future and believes he must be fearless in his career.

"I want to make history. Regardless of what I will do, I hope it is a beautiful story with a lot of accomplishments that are not only personal, but also team-oriented as well," the 23-year-old told reporters at Nike's Tech Fleece Jacket launch.

"I don’t know what my biggest fear is. I always try to have no fear. I just try to do the right thing and be happy. Being happy on and off the pitch just happens naturally.

"It’s hard to talk about myself, but I think I´m a happy guy and my biggest passion is being with my family, my son, my friends - the people I love. I also try to always have fun, not only on the pitch, but also off it.

"My parents are my biggest sources of inspiration. They are people who I have always looked up to and have admired for all they’ve taught me. And obviously I´m still learning a lot from them.

"Off the pitch I’m not a guy who keeps thinking about the game 24 hours a day. I dress up and when it’s time to warm up for a game I just go, ask God to bless me and say, ‘let’s go'."

Neymar was instrumental as Barcelona clinched a treble of La Liga, the Champions League and Copa del Rey last term.

The attacker has been deemed fit to play for Barca in their next league game against Malaga, having recovered from the mumps.
