Real Madrid ace forward Cristiano Ronaldo insisted that he plays a completely different style of football than Liverpool’s in form forward Mohamed Salah.

Salah marked his debut season at Liverpool by scoring 32 Premier League goals beating Ronaldo’s 31-goal joint record from 2007-08. Both Ronaldo and Salah have scored 44 goals in all competitions this season.

Ahead of their clash at Kiev on Saturday, Real Madrid marksman said that the 25-year-old Egyptian is completely different than him but hailed Salah for his fantastic season with Liverpool.

“He is completely different. He plays with the left, I play with the right. I’m tall he’s a little bit shorter, I play with the head,” Ronaldo was quoted as by Metro.

“We are completely different. People want to compare me with other players but I’m different from everyone.

“Salah is different but I have to say he has had a fantastic Champions League a fantastic league season, but Saturday, let’s see.” Ronaldo said.

Reds manager Jurgen Klopp earlier suggested that Salah needs to perform consistently for 15 more seasons at this level to match Ronaldo.

“Mo had a fantastic season, but Cristiano has played 15 seasons like this,” Klopp said.

Salah, on the other hand is overwhelmed by the fact that he is being compared to Ronaldo and Messi- the two greats of this generation.

“I feel great about the numbers,” he told BT Sport. “Everyone is talking about Ronaldo and Messi because they’ve been at that level of 15/13 years so I’m proud to see myself compared to them.”

Salah also suggested that the final in Kiev will not just be a duel between Ronaldo and him.

“It’s the final game, it’s not about Salah or Ronaldo, it’s about the clubs,” he pointed out.

“I want to make everyone proud, I want to make everyone in the city happy, in Egypt, over the world. I just need to think about the game, nothing else, just do my job.” concluded a determined and focused Salah.
