Table toppers play out a draw

Youngmen's Fakirerpool Club maintained their lead in the Marcel Bangladesh Championship League despite being held to a 1-1 draw by Saif SC at the Bangabandhu National Stadium yesterday.

It was a battle between two table toppers and Youngmen's Club went ahead through a penalty strike from Zahidul Dalim in the 21st minute before Matin cancelled the lead in the 42nd minute.

The second draw in five matches helped Youngmen's Club raise their tally to 11 while Saif SC were just two points behind.
