Pirlo leaves Juve for MLS

Juventus have confirmed Andrea Pirlo has left the club to sign for New York City FC.

The Italy international had long been linked with a move to the MLS franchise and the reigning Serie A champions have now made his departure official.

"Andrea Pirlo has announced that he will continue his career in the United States, bringing the curtain down on four extraordinary seasons with the Bianconeri," a statement on the official Juventus website reads.
